We finally made it—this is the last day of our 21 day fast! Thank you for participating and seeking the Lord diligently for these past 3 weeks. Now we can anticipate God’s richest rewards according to Hebrews 11:6 “God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.”
Matthew 6 tells us that when we fast, God will give us a huge public reward. The same is stated for us when we pray and when we give. When all three are combined at the same time (praying, fasting and giving), the rewards increase exponentially.
On the last day of every 21 Day Fast, we bring a sacrificial offering to the Lord for the expansion of the ministry at New Life, and to reach more people for Jesus in the coming year. This year we have challenged everyone to “Give beyond your Ability” (2 Corinthians 8:1-3).
We noticed that the churches in Macedonia had suffered great trials and were in deep poverty. In spite of this they begged earnestly to help with an offering to provide for others. They stretched their faith and not only joyfully gave what they could afford, but much more than they could afford (2 Cor. 8:2, 3 LBT).
We are asking everyone that loves God and his Kingdom, to bring a sacrificial gift to the Lord this year on January 29th. We are following the example of God himself—He so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son so that we could be saved from eternal judgment. We are so happy that God loved us enough to give his very best, not just what he “could afford”.
In the same way, we desire to give God a sacrificial gift, not something that is convenient or easy, but something that stretches our faith and shows God how much we love Him.
If you do not have the money now, make a faith promise on your giving envelope, and bring the money in throughout the year as the money becomes available.
Our goal is $100,000 and the money will be used for necessary improvements in our Beulah, Bismarck, and Jamestown locations, with a priority of our local campus first.
Get ready for a great year filled with huge rewards from God as you respond in faith.
The Best is yet to come!
